    • Thanks for your comments. I wrote this for a competition and the limit was two pages only, so that explains the short build-up.

    • This is a quirky story, I like it. I'd drag it out a bit more, the twist at the end is great, but I don't know if it's as good as it could be with such a short build-up. It would be great to have him traveling to different countries, reading books on gifts, and on and on until he at last finds the perfect gift.
