Living barely out of the earthquake zone in North Canterbury New Zealand gives me much to be thankful for. I enjoy writing, the challenge of a clean empty page is irristable particularly after spending too many years writing business letters and reports. I have written a couple of novels, and aim to write a few more. The most fun and money earned was ghost writing a trilogy of novellas about the building of the pyramids, that is expressing my client's views on such things as levitation.

- Hi Gerry, and thanks for looking at that. It's great to know other NZers are on the site. Your review didn't submit, I'm not sure why. There have been some problems with my uploading of projects as well. So hopefully what you read was the 21 page version, not just the first chapter, which was initially all that would upload. I'll take a look at The Charity some time soon. Did you enter it in lba? TM PS Did you hear that Wanganui (I live in the country nearby) had a murdered ex KGB man found in a central city house last week? Who says we never have any international intrigue?

- Hi Gerry, I'm from NZ too. I live in the North Island, on a really lovely piece of land in the Wanganui region. Would be happy to swap reads with you, I have an entry in the crime fiction comp as well, it's called The Painted Man. I'm new to this site so not so sure how we go about swapping reads? Please forgive my ignorance.

- PROLOGUES I like prologues, but there seems a variance of views about them. They seem to polarise opinions. What do you think?
