I have been writing for as long as I can remember. I never wrote anything for others to read, I mostly just wrote to get a thought or idea or story out of my head. Once it was on paper and out of my head I had no use for it. It makes me a little sick to think of the stacks and stacks of stories I have lost or tossed away over the years. Currently I am going back through some old things I have written and posting them just to see if anyone likes them and they are worth polishing up. I have mostly written short stories or essays in the past, mainly because I have not found the discipline needed to finish a novel of any length. I am currently working on one now which I have posted and I hope that some feedback will keep me on task. I know nothing about the writing world. How it is done, if someone can actually make a living out of it and how to go about it but I would be very interested in finding out more. My strong points tend to be mood, and characters. My weakest point would have to be my horrible grammar and sentence structure. I am well aware of these short comings and hopefully I can get some help here to give some of my better projects some polish.
