This is one of the best stories I've read on Circalit. It has great characters with a lot of depth for such a short story.  The story itself is fascinating and evolves and draws the reader in.  I wanted to keep reading to find out how things would develop. By the end it felt like much more than the few pages it is.  The author posted that it's still in draft form, so the grammar/spelling and be edited later.  But it is a beautiful short story.  Really well done.

  • So glad you enjoyed the story. I am not even sure how long ago I wrote it but I remember the mood I was in when doing it and hope that it was conveyed. I am currently trying to focus on my novel at the moment I have posted the first 60 pages and would love some feedback on that if you find the time. It is a much different story than this one and has a much more traditional feel to it but I would be interested to see if the characters, plot and pacing are interesting so far. Thanks again.
