Heaven & Hell bar owner Barry Cox is coming under increasing pressure to pay off his outstanding debt to fellow local nightclub competitor Terry O'Neill.
Heaven & Hell is a six part TV sitcom spanning thirty minutes per episode. Barry Cox, owner of Heaven & Hell bar is running out of time to pay off his outstanding debt to Terry O'Neill, owner of the Cobra Club and other establishments in Croxley.
The overarching storyline to Heaven & Hell is Barry’s struggle to pay back Terry whilst trying to keep his beloved bar open and furthermore protect the livelihood of his loyal staff that depends heavily on its survival.
As Terry begins to exert more pressure on Barry with his games, reluctantly but realising drastic measures are required to save face, Barry has hired the services of the Henderson cousins, who have agreed to acquire half ownership of Heaven & Hell.
In return, The Henderson cousins have instilled Bernadette Bridges at Heaven & Hell to act as a go between on their behalf to ensure the transaction goes smoothly and so Barry is in close check so he does not do anything untoward.
As the other members of staff are not aware of the precarious financial predicament, Bernadette is portrayed as a security officer in the hope no questions will be asked as to her arrival.
Despite his troubles, Barry is an ever optimist. Clearly out if his depth, he still believes that he is capable of pulling Heaven & Hell out of the mire and retaining full ownership despite the ongoing contractual negotiations.
