Suicide Note
I think is a very good piece of writing. To attempt to walk in the shoes of the mother of someone considered a monster by society is extremely brave. You often hear about the mothers of killers, especially high profile mass murders like school slayings, becoming victims of the masses of infuriated friends and relatives of the deceased, as if she is some way culpable. This is common in America where they ignore everything that is great about their constitution, that human beings have rights, are born free and equal, are legally entitled to a fair and unbiased trial, and are innocent until proven guilty, and they bay for the blood of the innocent.
I'd like to see you take this further, and let us be with the writer as she writes the letter, and allow us into her memories to the first time she heard of the murders, the feelings she felt on initial reception of the news, her inner conflicts.
Technically it's accurate. I look forward to reading more of your work.
