Interesting story. In the beginning it read a little like a mushy Women's Weekly romance. Partly due to the detail provided about the girl's appearance e.g. "petite, feminine hands." Especially the reference to "delectable" lips. And in this context, the deliberate repetitiveness of some of the lines was irritating But after about two pages, I got caught up in the story - intrigued by the growing romantic connection - and the repetitive style became less irritating. Possibly even appealing.
