Synopsis
A young girl is bought by a couple from an African/Caribbean country and brought back to the UK. As far as everyone can tell this couple have done a great deed adopting this girl into their family and giving her a better life however behind closed doors thats not the case. After a visit from social services the couple agree to send her to school rather than home schooling her, she is sent with a strict request to keep her mouth shut. At school she is introduced to dance and meets a boy who is passionate about it. After a while he is able to get her to open up about her life and tries to help her escape it. With dreams to become one of the best African Caribbean ballet dancers she takes her parents to court knowing that that is the only way she will ever be able to pursue it. After winning the court case she is released and uses the money to create bigger and better opportunities for herself and others like her.

- Sounds like it could make an Afro-Caribbean drama, focusing on a subject that has not really been covered in films. But an idea is an idea. Would have to see the script first.
