Hello, I'm Annabel. I like writing and reading other people’s writing. Especially if you’re Woody Allen or Shane Meadows. Or Paul Abbott. Or John Irving. Or Margaret Atwood. Or Aaron Sorkin. If you write comedy I’ll probably like that too. I pay the bills as a Development Executive at Headline Pictures, an indie film/TV production company based in Soho, where I get to work on lots of lovely stuff including Dustin Hoffman's directorial debut and a Philip K. Dick adaptation by the amazing Howard Brenton. I'm also a freelance script reader for Film4. I am a graduate of the Royal Court Young Writers Programme, have an MA in Creative Writing from the University of Manchester and a Diploma in Script Development from the Script Factory/NFTS. Somehow or other my writing has put me in touch with a bunch of mad people who no doubt agreed to meet me out of pity, including Channel 4, Lime Pictures, Kudos Film
