I am a post-graduate in Film Studies (going on two years now!) When I left uni, I fell in love with writing. I always loved films, and reading, so this seemed the best solution for me creatively.
My entry for the Sci-Fi Short Story Competition is now complete. Wish me luck.
It is available here: http://www.circalit.com/michaelvank/projects/project_1330810783/
Please take the time to write me a review, as this forms part of the competition criteria, thanks.
No worries - thanks for the review of 'Running On Empty' - I will take on board what you said and re-work it as soon as I can.
Good luck with your piece in the comp - I think it's got a good chance.
Hey mate, thanks for the review of 'The Next Stop'. I did see the sequel to Donnie Darko - I knew I wouldn't like but I still watched it just out of curiosity.
I read trough 'The Flicks' - posted a review. I'll check out another piece of yours soon.
I'm currently tweaking one of my features 'A Burning Promise' in time for the BlueCat final deadline. I'm also working on a new feature - based on the news story recently about a 17 year old boy who wondered out of the woods after claiming to be living out there with his father for over five years.
Any recommendations of what to read of yours next?
Hey mate, I have one other short film 'The Next Stop' - a cross between Triangle and Donnie Darko. The other two are the first ten pages of features - both submitted for that 'pitch your script' competition on Circalit.
What about yours? Any first choice recommendations for me to read?
