A growing Irish town is full of freaks, and Freaks Terence is doing his best to track them down. He shoots up with them, gets drunk with them, anything to make them think that he is a victim.

He is scorned by society, laughed at, but Freaks Terence is part of a network of people that know about the freaks. He knows what they are, not many do. They are all over the globe, have fed off the excesses of humanity, but things are changing and not for the better.

The freaks are creatures that have gorged on all the outcasts, and it takes an outcast like Terence to hunt them. There have been hints of them through Irish myths, through the pages of history, but they have always been here. In this Irish town Terence’s deepest fears are about to be realised, he is about to find out that after six years of hell things can only get worse.
