Moonshadow (Chapter one: Pilot/Parts one and two)

In the beginning, they used to live with us. They used to hunt us and we used to kill them.
Then, they chose other way. They were harder and stronger than the humans, and almost immortals. They were good soldiers so they did deals with the ancient kings, fighting in their wars and, receiving power and protection. They started to look for the balance between the human kingdoms. The peace was their aim. For protection, they put themselves in the tales, in the legends. In the shadows. They were called Bloodsuckers.

The first chapter takes place in the ancient Greece in the year 479 b.C., during the  Persian wars. Before the final battle, Aristhogenus and Zoroastrus, the leaders of the vampire´s secret brotherhood  make a deal with the Greek politicians, they will fight against the Persians for the freedom  if the Greek leaders let them live in Athens like in their home. During the attack of Dracon, the vampire´s soldiers commander, the most of the Persians die, but one of them, Hazad, becomes a bloodsucker (just a few humans survive after being bitten, turning in a bloodsucker, but the most of the humans die because of the infection). So Dracon protects and shows Hazad how to live as a vampire and they both start a deep relationship as brothers of blood (like the two main characters of “ Interview with the Vampire”)
Time after, in the year 334 b.C., Athens is under the power of Alexander the Great. Aristhogenus, Zoroastrus and all the brotherhood is worried about this young king whom wants to own the whole world. They want to kill him and to start a war between Athens and Macedonia, but Dracon is disagree because he wants to help Alexander to conquer the world and use him as a tool to own the humanity. At fist, Hazad is agree with the brotherhood, but then he falls in love with a human woman, Acantha, and decides to protect her life helping Dracon and avoiding the war. So, Hazad prevents Alexander´s murder meanwhile Dracon kills the elders vampires and makes a deal with Alexander. But after that, Dracon starts a cruel policy with the humans (because in the deepest part of his soul there is a secret that makes him hate the humans) killing a lot of them (including Acantha) so Hazad tries (with the help of Alexander) to stop Dracon. But Dracon escapes and since this day Hazad starts a secret war, an epic search for revenge across the centuries from the ancient ages to the future.

During all the chapters, all the epochs, Dracon makes deals with the most powerful human leaders (Julius Caesar, Charlemagne, Napoleon,  or Hitler) using their weaknesses and manipulating their personalities from the shadows (like in “Rome”, the historical characters are very important) looking for a way to own the world and, on the other side,  since the ancient past and across all the history, Hazad fights against him for his own revenge and for the human freedom.
