My entry for the Sci-Fi Short Story Competition is now complete. Wish me luck.
It is available here: http://www.circalit.com/michaelvank/projects/project_1330810783/
Please take the time to write me a review, as this forms part of the competition criteria, thanks.
It was my pleasure mate, I really enjoyed it. After I had posted the message, I noticed the star rating...oops! sorry mate. As for me, I am going through a little transition (hahah), my acting agent pissed me off the other week, so I left the agency, mutual consent I think it's called, so no acting jobs of late. I did do a voice-over for a TV show on Friday, so a little money coming in. No writing so far, I just can't seem to get my head into it at the mo, I've got ideas and stories floating around, just ain't got the application as yet.
Cheers James.
They did change a few bits in the video- the owner of the house didn't want them to smoke cigarettes etc, so little bits of changes here and there. They did pretty well to say it was shot over a weekend on a zero budget. It's very strange seeing your writing 'come to life'. I was lucky enough to see the film version of another one of my shorts at the cinema in Derby. I had to introduce it too, and it was a bit nerve racking (but nothing a few pints before hand didn't solve)! The director/producer made a great job of it, again with a few tweaks and re-writes.
Cheers again, looking forward to reading more of your stuff.
