Smoke And Mirrors
Intelligent dialogue, familiar subject
Two lovers at the end of a relationship is nothing original, so we must keep retelling it in as many different ways as we can imagine. Mr. Curran writes that love is a poison that attacks the body through a kiss. I enjoyed his intelligent dialogue and the character's view of love. It is difficult to compress the span of a romance into six pages, so more often than not, we almost inevitably get the character voice over instead of character interaction. However, Mr. Curran uses his character's voice effectively. Dark and poetic style.
Congrats on the win. Good job.
