A Scattering Of Nettles

Jean Charles could find no work in Brasil, the country of his birth. His much-longed for dream of going to America comes crashing to the ground with the rejection of his visa application. His father tells him all is not lost - there are opportunities aplenty in England. And so, with his dreams put on hold, and his few possessions stuffed into his battered old suitcase, Jean Charles heads to London... but a cultural shift in attitudes towards foreigners makes the ground beneath his feet a lot more unsteady than he was expecting...
