Tears of A Clown

Tears of a Clown is dark comedy drama about a veteran TV personality called Trevor Porter who was once one of Australia’s most loved household names.

From being a successful stand up comedian in his younger years, to hosting popular shows like ‘I want to be Rich’ and ‘Make the Deal’ (working titles) and even a regular on the morning news, Trevor was always seen in a positive light in the eyes of the Australian audiences.

‘One of TV’s Funniest personalities’ and ‘A TV Legend in the making’ are a few of the things Trevor was once called in the Sunday Morning Herald and The Informer.

But, after years of entertaining the public, Trevor, like most prima donnas in the business his age, has grown old and tired of it all and the only people who really remember him for who he was are an almost forgotten generation of the past.

Trevor Porter wants to somehow get back in the spotlight again; he wants to be loved and successful, Trevor Porter in his own words ‘wants to be a star again’.

Up until now, Trevor has always had a knack of staying out of the spotlight when it comes to his ‘clowning around’ and although a comeback may be possible, his crazy antics and dark secrets of the past (and present!) are about to catch up with him.
