A bored android must make the ultimate sacrifice to save the members of his crew.

Synopsis

An android on a spaceship traveling between stars falls in love with one of the people who is cryonically frozen. He must make a split second decision to end his life when it becomes evident that doing so will save the crew from danger. The woman he loved realizes she has a tragic connection with this android, something she doesn't quite understand. Flash Fiction, less than 500 words.

    • That's a nice evocative piece. Obviously going to draw comparisons with Blade Runner, Aliens, Prometheus and even Moon, but wonderfully descriptive and I too somehow wished it was me...
