Hey everybody - just signed up. Mostly interested in TV scripts but I already see interesting work from all genres here.
Does anyone know what the appropriate category would be for posting a TV script. This would be a sitcom 'pilot' sorta thing.
Anyways, hope to hang out here as often as I can.
Cheers,
J
Hi all,
Pete here, looking for proper feedback ... not effusive praise in the hope of getting the same in return, nor ill thought-out criticism. Proper, candid, measured feedback. That's all ... hope to hear from you all soon.
Hi Friends, I write and read odd, humorous, quirky, entertaining and weird stories. I have a limited attention span and write as if this is the case in my reader. I like Short flash style stories and I would consider a long write (and read)only 1300 to 1600 words. That's online of course, completely different in hard copy. I dislike pedestrian material. I hope to put together a collection of stories in the next 12 months. That's the plan..
Hello. I'm Oliver Gunne (it says so in the title). I'm interested in comedy and in all its outpourings though especially stand up, sketch formats and really funny, clever sitcom. Frankie Boyle, Harry and Paul and The Inbetweeners spring to mind. The BBC does comedy really well and not just on TV - radio 4 is a great station for comedy. If anybody else is interested in comedy well, I'm not surprised. And if you're not? Don't make me laugh. Even the Queen's interested in comedy and has a great double act with a recycled muppet who comically walks two paces behind her at all times. The Prime Minister is still working on his though you've got to say Dave 'n George are still work-in-progress though I did like the way Dave ditched five hundred years (a guess; don't get too hung up on it) of democracy by dissing the Levenson report with his unilateral "we don't need more legislation". With George adding "We don't need no thought control". Another promising double act are ? Well you tell me...
