Circalit Short Story Anthology

As we're getting ready for the first ever Circalit Short Story Anthology in Autumn 2012, we want to create a forum where anyone  can express their opinion on which stories they would include in the ideal Circalit Short Story Anthology! This is place where you can suggest the short stories that you love, so please don't just post your own short stories here. We're really looking forward to seeing which stories are suggested!

    • I really enjoyed 'Honeymoon" as a short short story, also "HOme Safe" by the same author. both well done and i think a good example of how much story you can get out of just a few short paragraphs. There are no extraneous passages, they're reduced to just the bare minimum but still have characters, a plot and an offbeat ending. Just my cup of tea, either one I think would be a good addition to the anthology.

    • I loved "MY Morbid Wife", It's typical of the way life changes when babies rear their little presences. It's really well written and very humorous. Well done.

    • Many thanks for nominating The Beast Next Door, SDM! It won an award last night at the Ether Books Awards, so I'm chuffed.

    • Yip, In Vetro is a stand-out piece of imaginative, original writing, so would like to see it included, but like many of the shortlisted stories.
