  • This isn't a post for a writing competition, but a proposal for anyone with a talent in pla writing?! I co-run a theatre company at the university of Chester called Four Eyes Theatre Company. This year we're hoping to get some new writing that we can play with and perform. We're looking for something that's exciting, cutting edge, one act and ideally has more than 6 characters. What's really important is that we're trying to find writers who are young and passionate about their work, and with their material we aim to create a passionate and really damn kool piece of theatre. We're looking for a writer that wants to not only try and promote themselves and their writing, but also experiment with any new material/old material that they have, or any ideas that may be brewing! If you seem interested and would like to know more, please don't hesitate to message me (1013288@chester.ac.uk) and pass this information onto anyone you think it would benefit. This is a great opportunity to really experiment with something you're looking into taking further, and together we could possibly enter into competitions. I look forward to hearing from you!
