I am currently undertaking a degree of Advanced Creative Writing at The Open University. I had originally been at Bournemouth University doing the Scriptwriting for Film and Television degree, but didn't really take to the whole student lifestyle. You never seem to DO anything! Desperate in some way to try and get as much experience and feedback as possible in order to develop as a writer, I have started to enter competetitions as they always say the best way to progress is to get your work read! Jobs, no matter to how many you apply for, are at such a premium especially when you are young, people don't want to give you the break or ANY break to be honest. So, I thought I would turn to what I enjoy and work my socks off to acheive at something that I love doing......writing!
