Formerly a teacher, I am now a full-time writer. My poetry and short fiction has been published in magazines and e zines both at home and overseas and I am the house reviewer for a local company. 2010 saw the publication of my first poetry collection. I write because it is the thing that I most love to do.

- Hi, I have two or three things on at the moment. I have a feature to do for 'Enchanted' with a D/L of 16th August. 600 on the health benefits of belly dancing. I am also working on a couple of poems for an up and coming Performance Evening at a local library on the subject of 'The Joys and Sorrows of Eating' and I am tryng to put together a collection of short stories. I have set myself the challenge of producing a completed draft every week and then I submit as many as possible to various outlets. Most of these don't pay, of course, but I don't really do it for the money - though, it is nice if some comes along occasionally, of course. This week, The Recusant accepted one of my poems and a story. It was the first time I submitted there so I was pleased about that. What about you? How much time a week are you able to give to your writing?

- hi there, oh i guessed well!! in that case it was a fantastic write! I love stories like yours. No i have not entered into that competition im very new to this and probably i am no where near up to standard for competitions like that. My two projects i uploaded i did one version and then another, the second i am hoping is much improved but the second version runs very similar to your theme in jam tomorrow! But anyways really enjoyed it :)
