I suffer from a condition called cerebral palsy, which means I spend all my time in a wheelchair, but I have a generally optimistic view on life, and I don't usually let it get me down!
One day, I was watching the Oscars, and it occurred to me: there were NO disabled actors there! I thought to myself "Right. I'm gonna change that!" I immediately enrolled in A Level Drama (A Level students...meh) and started writing a screenplay. The screenplay is now finished, and I have high hopes of its success, as everyone is loving films such as The King's Speech and Slumdog Millionaire at the moment. I think my writing is a good way for me to break into the industry, as I think seeing a disabled boy playing a disabled boy in a feature film will have a huge impact in mainstream cinemas (I wrote the part for myself!)
