What a brilliant opening. This other world, these other people and they are sexy. Yes, this is gripping and compelling but more importantly it’s original. Thank god! You make the mythical creatures earthy, sensuous and real. We can smell them, feel them. Beard is a great character as is Lane and characterization and dialogue really bring a TV play to life. This certainly has legs because there are so many different directions you can take this. The beauty of this is that you have created a fantasy and successfully executed it following the rules of that fantasy (if that makes sense!!). A fantastic piece.
