I write plays, recently a short novel, short stories and poetry. I'm a professional actress and singer. I hope to have a reading of my play soon in the Los Angeles area. I have recently come to Los Angeles from New York where I have worked and lived for most of my life.

SETTING for PINK CARNATIONS: ACT I Scene 1
************************************************************************************************************************************************************
The living room of a small, working class house in Pennsylvania. It is a chaotic, if artistic, collage of styles, frayed and dingy. Ashtrays overflow. There are dusty, plastic, elaborate bird of paradise and other flower arrangements, Chinese sculpture and other ornamental knick knacks scattered about. The television set remains on throughout most of the play. The sound can be turned down or off, but we should always have a sense of its presence. There is a small baby grand piano downstage left, also topped with artistic paraphernalia. There is a winged-back, shabby "television" chair with faded and stained upholstery. There is a large basket to the side of the chair with dozens of pill bottles inside of it. On the small lamp table beside the chair is a large Medical Dictionary.
