Death Of A Kitten

A very readable and bizarre story, engagingly told with a surprising ending. I would suggest that the opening of the story is a little too much digression though of course you do have to mention Rosie. And I had to read one paragraph again as I wasn't sure that the dead kitten wasn't Rosie. Also, just a thought but I wonder if you could end the story on seeing the headless body of the toy kitten, i.e. drop the last words of the mother. Just a thought to make the ending more dramatic. I enjoyed it, and thanks for sharing.
