A Fine Romance

A very well written, well observed and true-to-life little tale. The writer-inspired-by-friends’-lives and eavesdropping scenarios are all too familiar to any writer, but mummymummy tells her story with a nice self-deprecating touch and a jolly sense of humour. She writes well, with only one little spelling slip-up (“inundated”) and perfect punctuation, and her story has a rhythm and pace that is easy to read and makes you want to… the ending came too soon.
