I was born in Exeter in 1970 and graduated from Leeds University in 1991. I've spent twelve years teaching in countries like Estonia, a former soviet state, and Oman, where daggers are part of the national dress. I co-edited ‘The Mammoth Book of Jack the Ripper’, published by Constable Robinson in 1999 and updated in 2008, and was a short story finalist for the Brit Writers Awards 2011. - Thanks for the review Nathan. I just wanted a truthful perspective. Every fortnight I attend a writing circle that has a couple of published writers as members and they have said what a good story it is but I worry that they don't have the bottle to critisise face to face so you've put my mind at rest and I feel I'm on the right track. By the way I do know the difference between there and their and to and too, I guess I should print it off and edit it before posting, so thanks again and if there's anything I can do for you just scream Regards, Paul

- Hi Nathan, I've just posted the first chapter of a book I'v been working on. Could you give it the once over and tell me what you think.
