Synopsis

"The King of Ghent had lost his sense of fun." Can Bob the Troubadour help him find it again? This is an abridged version of a 'Canterbury Tale' which I'll be writing up to about 2,500 words or so over the next few weeks.

    • Thanks for reading, Polly. 'Quod' is a Chaucerian word, a cross between 'quoth' and 'said', which I keep in for authenticity. And it's anything but a pee-take. Chaucer's 'Miller's Tale' is one of the bawdiest stories you could ever read.
