Do only friends see updates? :(
In 2008 I started work on a novel. It was terrible. I had no talent for flowery descriptive language. And yet I knew I had some great ideas. So I decided to turn it into a screenplay, and it became 'If You Knew, You'd Never Sleep Again', a screenplay I will upload in the near future. The beautiful prose was no longer required- concise and vivid became what mattered. I can do this, I thought. So here I am. I have been a fan of film all my life. From singing the words to the songs of Labyrinth at about six years old to watching Platoon with my Dad when I was ten (I recall him turning to me saying 'are you sure you can handle this?'). I remember creeping downstairs late at night to watch the Alien series of films when they came on TV, and an amazing day where me and a friend decided to watch two unfamiliar movies on the same day at the cinema- the equally great Moulin Rouge and AI Artificial Intelligence.

    • I think I will make the changes required then post it on here, and hopefully people will give advice that doesn't change the fundamental spine of the story. Do you guys have any idea what the next step is? I've never researched it so far as I wanted to get my screenplays done first... Would you just buy the writers handbook and send it to agents?

    • Qvestion: I do as the script factory tell me and make changes. But then once changes are made and I show someone else, won't they just ask for a new raft of changes? How can you ever know if your script is ready to find an agent? I beg you all, tell me how.
