Successor

Queen Vivianna of the Remote Realm decides that it is time to start looking for her successor. There can only be one single person to whom she hands over control over the Power of the Everlasting Emerald. There will be official contests but the final decision lies with the Queen. So among the Queen’s relatives, lovers, advisors, ministers and other hopefuls, the political scheming and machinations start, and violent fights ensue. On the day of the Centennial Celebration of the Green Light Vivianna wants to make the wise old Surmon her successor. She doesn't know that he has decided to destroy the Emerald because of the dangers its power brings with it. She also doesn't know that her jelaous sister Cariella plans to murder her. And least of all she knows that her predecessor, whom she had poisoned, is still alive...
