Dark crime thriller in which a serial killer quickly amasses a significant body count.

Type: Novel

Genre: Crime, Slasher, Thriller,

Synopsis

When the bodies of three young women are dumped on the streets, each of them tortured and abused, DCI Grantham has a lead that implicates Daniel Spencer. The lad has mental health issues for sure: Daniel doesn't seem to realise he's an only child, for a start, mourning still for a twin that never existed. Grantham isn't convinced the lad is the killer. Especially when it turns out one of the victims is related to Randolph Miller, a known drug baron. But Daniel believes he has another brother. Someone's out there hunting. And he's just getting warmed up.

    • Hi Happy Hound. Thanks for taking the time to read through my work. I decided to go with the 99p or 99c option as I'm an unproven author and perhaps more people would give it a go for a few pennies rather than if I were selling it for six or seven quid (or dollars!). Once my name's out there, it will be easier to get my next novel read too :) As for the suggestions you made, I can see what you mean about the simple sentence structures. I was trying to generate a mood in the opening chapter and the style (I hope) settles down through the rest of the novel, returning to the darker, direct style, whenever the killer comes back into the narrative. I'm glad you liked it, all the same, and thank you for the complements :)
