nice twist on the 'say goodbye to childhood' narrative, but maybe couldhave explored why there is anxiet between past and present a little more.

The style of writing is nice, and seems to find its flow aout halfway through, so maybe skim a few of the more convoluted extended metaphors/similies in the opening paragraphs, but that's just a thought!
