Nice start to what looks to be a good story. I love the personal narrative aspect - it really makes it more readable and entertaining. I also enjoy the bitterness of your lead character - she has obviously 'been around the block'. It's refreshing to see a character who isn't full of lovey-dovey sentiment, but one that is close to desperation with love and finding The One...
