Competition informationOur world may be a pretty fascinating place at times, but it’s nothing compared to the worlds created by authors of the plethora of Science Fiction circulating our Sun just now. Coming in as the second most read fiction genre of all time, it’s about time you dusted of your TMA-1’s, sharpened your Lightsabers, and load up your holographic computers to enter our new Sci-Fi contest...

To welcome our new Staff Reviewer, Kathryn Taussig, Circalit are hosting a short story competition to find the Philip K. Dick and Arthur C. Clarkes of the next generation; anybody who has a bold, new vision for a dystopian past or an intergalactic future.

Applicants must submit a short story that falls under the broad spectrum of science fiction. The writer with the most promising entry will receive a free full feedback report from the lovely Kathryn, whose recommendation may also see the winning submission entered onto Circalit’s Gold List.

Your submission a short story in the genre of science fiction. An extract from a longer narrative is acceptable, but it will nevertheless be judged as a short story.

A detailed synopsis must be included with each upload.
