When DollaTek's largest fund -- The Smudgmen Fund -- is revealed to be a Ponzi scheme, star stockbroker Britson Roker loses everything. 

One moment, he's a highly successful 30 year old stockbroker on pace to earn a huge bonus, the next moment he's lost his entire pay package, investments, wardrobe, company car and even his fiancée and her condo, which was his home.

In the midst of his rapid down-spiral, Britson Roker learns that he has inherited a pawnshop from a deceased uncle in his hometown.
