I did enjoy reading this. Despite its short length, it's very well paced and develops nicely over the course of the story. What I really enjoyed (apart from the ending) was the simplicity of the tale itself told through the childs eyes. By focusing on the imagination of the child, you are drawn into his fears and belief in the sharks around so that when the ending does come, it is not seen as absurd. Very good stuff!
