Synopsis

Dead Dogs is a darkly humorous thriller about the ‘Blood Feud’ laws of Albania, which legalise murder in cases of dishonour. The protagonist is Mikael, a young and rashly impulsive Polish boy who is victim to these laws.

Mikael's relocation to Albania becomes a life imprisonment, after his cousin kills a neighbouring boy. Victim of a Blood Feud, Mikael finds himself hunted by the enraged family who are desperate for revenge.

    • Love the way the characters are portrayed- subject matter gives lots of opportunity to explore diverse themes such as cultural and generational differences. Looking forward to reading others by the same author.
