  • Hi Sue, That's interesting that you found it hard to determine the narrator's age and status in my story, 'The Dear Departed', and yes, I guess it is a bit contrived! I read somewhere the reader doesn't like to be fooled, but it was good fun writing it. I'll read your work now... Hooroo, Victoria
