I spent my childhood in the Middle-East; living through a civil war, Iraqi missile attacks and artillery barrages from the U.S. Navy. I now live in the marginally quieter location of Berkshire but the Middle-East (and its influence on the West) does find itself repeatedly creeping back into my writing.
I've been a professional writer since 2005 with credits ranging from the BBC to The International Bible Society. My strangest commission to date has been writing an Arab version of ‘Friends’ for the Arabic station, SAT7 TV. My proudest moment has been reaching the final of 'The Pitch' film competition and being personally tipped for a bright future by BAFTA winner, David Suchet (Poirot).
