I'm keeping a low profile by using a pen name! Three of my screenplays have been produced and one is coming to the big screen in 2013. What you see on my page is mostly ideas - but to which I hold the copyright. Have a nice day:)
Big fan of George Lucas and Roland Emmerich movies like Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Jurassic Park, Stargate, Godzilla and Independence Day (ID4). My latest story is "Frost" which I'm co-writing with my daughter - she's a big fan of Tinker Bell and Monster High!
To be honest, it probably isn't going to get you a deal within a year. You'd be better off trying some of the free software out there and hanging around some of the good sites. You will pick up all information you need on the web and you'll find most writers are helpful. Stick with it... Also if your aim is to write a movie in a month, check out Script Frenzy, starting in April, they also have forums which are great and the aim, write a 100 page script in 30 days.
I do know that you can restore from it. But I have no idea how. You really need to speak to a tech guru over it. Someone who really knows their stuff. Sorry I don't know the ins and outs. But I use a service called drop box. Where everything is backed up online and I never delete anything.
Ricky, I apoogise it seems some things have changed on the site. Looks like they only offer you a months free trial if you sign up for the monthly thing... Not sure how else it works not to be honest. I could message the admins and find out. Will get back to you. Dawn
Thanks for the friend add, I don't want to take any credit for what you already have, but it would be nice to see your story and your skills grow. Sometimes that is all we can offer as friends. I have some experience, but I am also learning myself still. I think you'd really benefit from a site like scripped. There are loads of others there who can help answer your questions and point you in the right directions. Creativity and imagination are key, you have that, you just need some more skills to back it up. Don't worry also about the 'extra' pages, I understand where you are coming from, but on a site like this some times people can see the page length and think you've a complete script, where as on scripped, we could see it was a work in progress, (Or maybe you need to add that to your title somehow) Anyway, nice to meet you. And of course, here or there if you need to ask anything.
