“Tristan is a very talented writer… his idiosyncratic style sings out with his individual brand of quixotic humour, pathos and chilling darkness. ” – Marcus DF White, BAFTA Award Winning Director.
Tristan MG Aitchison is a Screenwriter. He graduated in Screenwriting from Screen Academy Scotland in 2010. His first screenplay ‘The Gift of the Nation’ was shortlisted for the John Brabourne Big 5 Comedy Award and was a semi-finalist in the British Short Screenplay Competition. He was also selected for and attended TAPS 2010 writers search for the Celtic nations and regions. He’s currently working with BAFTA winning director Marcus DF White developing a new prime time drama series.
He’s lived and worked in no fewer than five countries: volunteered in Romanian orphanages, danced to Atomic Kitten on the Mongolian Steppes, been shot at in Siberia, arrested in Georgia and eaten dog twice in Korea. All this and more and his hairline is only just receding.
Having lived away from his native Scotland for so long he’s got a unique and humorous view on how he sees Britain and the world.
