Pleased TABLE FOR TWO? has made the Semi-Finals of the Fresh Voices Screenplay Competition
I'm an English, Sydney-based screenwriter/filmmaker. Took screenwriting classes at Edinburgh University.
Written and directed 2 short films: 2 x 3 and HEART ATTACK. My script, A MAN TRIES TO GET BACK IN, is now a short film shot by Dhalia Hafez, a film director in the United Arab Emirates (the script was noticed here on Circalit and she asked if she could shoot it!).
My first feature script, LUCK'S RAN OUT, won the 2010 Screenwriter Showcase contest and has since placed in the quarter- and semi-finals of several other contests.
Have sold one script, ANY LAWFUL IMPEDIMENT.

- Hi Warren, Your short story was very good. I really like your writing style - it was very easy to read and flowed. I have just returned to the UK following a research trip to Australia - I self funded the trip - for the feature film project I am working on. Well done with the competition.
